3 Step Tandoori Chicken Asian Food hello spicy wow

Easy, simple and delicious dish that can be baked, grilled or barbequed. Requires marinating time.


Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken breast fillet
  • 2 tbs tandoori Indian curry paste
  • 2 garlic clove crushed
  • 2 tbs lime juice fresh
  • 2 tbs coriander chopped optional
  • 1 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 cup plain yoghurt
  • Equipment

    • barbecue
    • bowl
    • Method

      • STEP 1Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well, ensuring the chicken is well coated.
      • STEP 2Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight.
      • STEP 3Cook on greased barbeque or grill plate on medium heat until cooked through.
      • STEP 4Alternatively, bake at 180C for 30-40 minutes.

      Notes

      Can be prepared in morning or day before and cooked just before dinner time. Great served with rice, naan bread or in a pita bread. Goes perfectly with cucumber raita or mango chutney.
