lamb recipe

Marinated Lamb Chops

Ingredients

  • 6 loin chops (lamb) fat trimmed
  • 1/2 cup mirin
  • 1/4 cup light soy sauce
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp plain flour
  • 2 cms ginger finely grated

  • Method

    • STEP 1Place lamb chops in a shallow dish or bowl suitable for marinating.
    • STEP 2Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix together.
    • STEP 3Pour marinade over chops, cover and refrigerate. Leave overnight if possible, otherwise a few hours is sufficient.
    • STEP 4Cook chops on a barbeque grill or hot plate until done, basting the meat with extra marinade.
