items required For American Cake

• 1 1/2 cup vegetable oil
• 2 cup white sugar
• 2 1/2 cup plain flour
• 4 egg
• 2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 2 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1 cup walnuts finely chopped
• 3 cup carrot grated

• Method

  • STEP 1Mix oil and sugar together. Add eggs 1 at a time and beat well.
  • STEP 2Add dry ingredients, chopped nuts and carrot. Mix well.
  • STEP 3Pour into a lightly greased cake pan and bake at 180C for 2½–3 hours
